love notes

when it comes to the department of love, my two boys could not be more different. on one hand, there is wyatt. he basically never could be embarassed and is very open with his emotions. when the girls at school tell him they want to marry him, he simply tells him he has already told his "long-time" love mackenzie, he would marry her. wyatt and mackenzie have planned out their future life together, discussing children, careers, even cars. to wyatt, girls do not have cooties and he would probably even welcome a kiss on the cheek. owen on the other hand, is much more shy and always will say he is "never going to get married." unfortunately, i think owen will be one of those boys that girls just love to love. ALL the girls at school try to chase him for kisses and i often hear of foiled plans that girls make to get him into their arms. well, anyhow, there is a new kindergarten girl in owen's class, mia. she is smart and beautiful and kind. she is in love with owen. the teachers have told me she draws pictures of him and hides them. well, i went to pick up owen from school thursday and found him running happily on the playground. we started to walk to the car and he ran off to the distant bushes. i was unsure what he was doing, but simply scooped up grace, called to owen, and shuffled us to the car. well...yesterday i was cleaning out my car and this is what i found buried under the seat:



i think owen is in love.
