well, on our 10-hour ride home from our carolina trip, i was struggling with a sinus infection and terrible dizzy spells when i would watch the road. so my only reprieve was to look down...luckily i brought along my books to catch up on. i finished one to start this one, veil of roses, by laura fitzgerald. it was quite long so i figured i would not get through much...however my kids were all quiet so for 10 hours i got to read...just read...it was great! i finished the entire book and i could not recommend it enough. it was great and i love learning about different cultures...specifically indian cultures.
it is a story of tamila soroush's , age27, journey after leaving iran on three-month visa to the united states. tami has three months to find a husband and avoid returning to iran. i thought it was a great book! it would be a great one to add to your holiday wish list!
