wyatt always has numbers running through his head. he will sit and count for fun and do multiplication problems in his mind to pass the time. he has always been like this. so it is no wonder that the game show "deal or no deal" appeals to him. unfortunately it is on after he goes to bed, but sometimes i will tape it for him. well it happened to be on tonight and he raced in at 8:45 and said "i hear deal or no deal and i think tonight someone is going to win a million dollars!" as there was only a few minutes and a few cases left i let him sit up and watch it. sure enough, the show had its first million dollar winner and he was thrilled. he always is asking me to go on it (as if it is my choice) and he wishes there was a junior edition (there should be) so after i shuffled him excitedly to bed, on a whim i looked up the casting information. just so happens they are doing open calls right now so i guess what the heck...i printed up the 11-page application and then there is a 5-minute video requirement (we will let him do that part) and we will "roll the dice" at our chances to get on a game show. hey i am all about taking vacations! so wish us luck for wyatt's sake! he is so cautious though, he always thinks they should take the deal and play it safe! it would be fun!
