these are a few of my favorite things! by grace

"these are a few of my favorite things":

okay dress up has to be top on her list...she will call out "Time to DRESS UP" and go running upstairs. then she will come down with the entire ensemble...hat, dress, shoes, bag, wand/accessory and jewelry...all coordinating and all different every time. she changes probably 5 times a day and often falls asleep at night in costume!!
okay we all know that grace loves dora! we have done everything dora...birthday party, dora show, dora tattoos, dora pj's, dora music, dora vacation at nick hotel, dora, dora, dora! grace loves dora!!
thankfully our school has stables and a barn, because grace has a passion for horses. she doesn't run-she gallops through the house. she loves set them up, groom them, talk to them. she loves pony books and pony toys. the best is when she wears her cowgirl boots and hat with just her undies!

grace's little people house has been a favorite for years now. she loves that it is just her size and has everything all in one! it is so cute to hear her talking to the family. "oh you are tired, let's put you in bed"..."okay quick run to the potty"..."let's go for a pony ride!"
grace loves her stuffed animals. she typically will have one for the day that she carries around and talks to. today it is her baby deer.

while i am cooking, grace opens up her little kitchen and starts to "cook and bake". she loves to "borrow" my utensils. i often need to go searching to find my cups, spoons, and pots.

these favorites have been constants over the years. i know more will come and go but i bet many of these will stay with her forever...if not dora let's hope for dressing up...all girls love to shop!!
