It has been estimated that on average a school-age child using a disposable lunch generates 67 pounds of waste per school year. That equates to 18,760 pounds of lunch waste for just one average-size elementary school.
my sister and i took the plunge and bought the long awaited laptop lunch systems for the kids for back to school. it is an investment at $34.99 for the entire kit but our local retailer is having a 20% off deal this week...wyatt picked the primary colors, owen picked red and black, and hadley picked pink! surprise surprise!

hey kimmy we got it at the co-op next door to cafe bebe---20% off this week. supposedly there is or was an article in the newspaper too but i missed that.
