we had such a nice day at six flags. compared to our typical disney trips (which are always fantastic), this was a refreshing change, so relaxing and (not-surprisingly) a lot less commercialized. the kids loved the roller coasters (pretty mild in scare factor); we all loved the weather and the short lines! our hotel that night had a great little indoor pool which was fun and full of cannonballs and belly flops! we had outback for dinner and ice cream sundays! day 1-- a success!
