i wish we could be celebrating today. singing songs of "happy birthday to you" and watching you blow out the 1st of so many little candles. seeing precious little eyes looking through the crowd of guests just to meet with mine. wiping icing from your little fingers. sloppy baby kisses and gentle hugs.
