every since i was a little girl, i have always loved going to the renaissance festival. not sure if it has something to do with the fact that it is always right before my birthday, the spring weather, or just the querkiness of it all, but i have always enjoyed it. todd gets a little creeped out which i can understand, but i always like a nice day with the kids. the highlight this year was by far the heckling tomato toss...wyatt actually hit him a few times...todd and owen not so much :) grace made a fairy wand with mother nature and got to go on a royal horse ride. food was not as good as i remembered, but the dedication of the local costumes sure was impressive (even a little scary!!).
