"blasting off"

this was the kids real first plane trip (wyatt and owen have flown before, but not that they can remember). just before take off, grace asked if we were getting ready to "blast off?" then once we were up, she asked when we were going to do the loopty loops. they were all brave and excited. owen's ears hurt during descent, but overall they all did great. so all was well...until the airport. at the luggage turnstile, we waited and waited and waited for my last piece of luggage. so, when only one piece of luggage was left circling again and again, we finally realized that our luggage must have been mistakenly taken by someone else. a lengthy report followed and our luggage was returned about 12 hours later...rummaged through with several items missing (thankfully small). so after the airport it was off to the hotel to meet up with our waiting group! let the fun begin!
