after arriving at the hotel, we headed straight out. to lunch at mickey mantle's, walk in central park, took a $2 ride on the carousel, and then off to fao schwartz toy store for some playing. grace ended up getting a beautiful madame alexander dorothy doll. she decided to use all her souvenir money to get it. owen found a puppy lab to roll around with in the park. day 1 was a great success. we found a great little place across the street from our hotel which allowed us to grab pizza, drinks, and quick breakfasts easily...delicious food at great costs.
